Wow, can you believe Christmas is just a week away!?

It’s our first Christmas in #TheGreyHouseBuild and we are hosting all of my family on Christmas Day! We are so excited to have a home big enough to fit all of our family and even have the room for them to sleep over :) This year we opted for a REAL tree! This is another first for us and we are loving the authenticity of our goofy 14 ft tree (haha can you believe it’s 14 ft!?). Now that we have a real tree, one of the best tips people mentioned that I can vouch for, is invest in a good tree stand. Our tree was up in less then 5 mins! Doesn’t it look SO pretty :D

Because we are onto all that is new around here, just a month ago we finally settled on a sofa for our living room. If you remember back in November, I toured one of Mobilia’s Ontario locations where I shared some pretty amazing furniture on my IG stories. The sofa I went with is the stylish mid-century Silvig sofa in a rusty velvet. Yeah, can you believe I went with colour!? Me neither! But I love the change, especially for the Holiday season :)
