Well before we knew Scottie was a girl, I was dreaming up girl nurseries hoping that one day I would maybe get to decorate one for our own little girl!
Here it is, little Scottie Sue’s girly girl baby nursery!
Me not being a huge fan of pink, I still wanted to keep Scottie’s nursery cute and whimsical with that feminine feel… I found the cutest wall mural from Anewall and that is what we based our nursery decor around! From there we added a rocker and the cutest faux stool from Structube with a faux plant since this room doesn’t get the greatest natural light (also = one less plant to keep alive, ha!).
Another favourite is the washable natural boho rug from Lorena Canals! And yes, you heard that right, you can throw this pretty rug in the wash which is perfect for a kids bedroom ;). We added a floor lamp in brass to give Scotties room that extra warm glow in the evening!
Everything slowly came together and we found a few little vintage things along the way! Some things used to be mine like the wooden rocking horse which was built by my uncle for my first birthday! Aren’t those sentimental items the best :)
