This weekend, we celebrated our little Max’s first birthday! I just can’t get over how time flies, and I’m sure I will say this over and over again, but when you have babies they grow up before you have time to blink, soon they will be taking our cars! Jack has been into cowboy hats and tractors lately and so Brent thought it would be a great idea to throw Max a cowboy theme party… and because Max would look SUPER cute dressed up as a little cowboy ;). We had our family over for lunch and enjoyed a salad bar with pizza and of course many sweets consisting of donuts and my mom’s now famous peanut butter frosted cupcakes! (I will share the recipe soon). Max had a little reese’s cake that he dove into after he was mesmerized by the sparkler on top… but instead of digging into the cake he just licked all the icing off of the cake, smart little dude- the icing is the best part! The famous peanut butter cupcakes and our favourite Anna Mae’s donuts.Jack loves his sweets too.
The Birthday boy, patiently waiting for his cake!Max has never seen a sparkler before, can you tell!? And Jack didn’t like the happy birthday singing, maybe were not the greatest of singers, lol.
The icing was the best part! The birthday boy with his Grandmas’.
And his Papas’.
My not so little baby boy.He enjoyed kissing wrestling with his cow balloon… it’s still alive.
A few cowboys took advantage of the beautiful weather.
Dad wresting and reminiscing after a long day of celebrations!
Max had a wonderful first birthday and got spoiled with lots kisses and presents! We love you Max!! <3
