Here is Part 2 of the Interior Design Show #IDSToronto. There were so many inspirational elements, sleek designs, ultra-fine wood furniture and modern art… So much genius creativity that I had to break IDS into two parts. Below are some inspiring living room designs, amazing textures, patterns and colours that I just couldn’t resist!
Rock the Boat with Urban Barn, part of their Spring Collection
How adorable is this nautical-themed living room?! The use of cobalt blue and mustard yellow adds so much personality next to the warm wood tones. I love how there are so many different elements in this room. The textured pillows and symmetrical lines and the balance of bright and neutral. Love. I have also been seeing a lot of repetition at IDS with the use of industrial lighting. How awesome is that Lanterna Bronze Table Lamp? Just admiring this room brighten’s my day.
Another from Urban Barn’s Spring Collection, this beautiful fresh and romantic inspired bedroom!
How amazing is this tufted bed, it even has upholstery tack detailing along the sides. The beside table featuring leather handles and corner detailing composes a soft and delicate feeling. The toss cushions finish this bedroom off with their light balanced colouring and airy designs.
I checked online to share links to all of this incredible product, but this is the UB Spring Line, so it’s not up yet! (Sneak preview over here! ;)!) Stay inspired with Urban Barn by following along on social!

They are incredible so keep checking back! There is something about the beauty of natural flowers, and this room feels like I walked into a field of flowers! From the vibrant green to the beautiful pink tones mixed with a few cool hues, I don’t think I could ever be angry in this room.
Home Furniture
St. Jacob’s Home Furniture Facebook page.
Home Furniture- by Home Hardware knocked it out of the park with this charming and eclectic traditional living room. (Did you know Home Hardware sold gorgeous tufted leather sofas?!) The frame molding in a navy adds contrast and character to the deep purple/blue toned wall.
Wall-mounted faux taxidermy artwork creates large scale appeal. (Did I mention that faux taxidermy artwork was EVERYWHERE?! #Trending!) The gold accent’s warm up the masculine tufted sofa, while a primary coloured geometric rug adds a lively touch. This room was designed with the help of the Conestoga College Interior Design Program. Well done!
