With Halloween sneaking up on us, it’s time to whip up some tasty spookylicious treats! This Halloween Bark is a family favourite, it’s easy to make and a fun activity for kids! Another awesome bonus with Halloween Bark, is that you can bag it up and hand it out as little Halloween favors for teachers, kids, friends and family – everyone is going to love you ;)
Caution: this stuff is addicting and requires a major sweet tooth!
Ingredients:
• 14-16 oreo cookies, broken up into large chunks
• 1 cup pretzels, broken into pieces
• 3 cups white chocolate melts
• 1 1/3 cups candy corn
• 1/2 cup Reese’s pieces
• 2 tablespoons of Halloween food sprinkles… or as many as your kids throw on ;)
Directions:
• Cover a large cookie sheet with wax/ parchment paper. Spread broken oreo cookies, pretzels, reese’s and 1 cup of the candy corn onto the prepared cookie sheet
• Melt white chocolate melts (I melt mine by placing in a bowl and microwaving in 30 second increments – stir after every 30 seconds to prevent burning)
• Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cookie mixture on the cookie sheet, spreading with spatula to coat evenly (this part is messy – tossing the cookie mixture and spreading out flat on cookie sheet works too)
• Quickly sprinkle remaining candy corn and Halloween sprinkles over the melted chocolate before it hardens
• Place cookie tray into the refrigerator to harden
• Once the bark on the cookie sheet is hard, break into bite size chunks and enjoy!
