I haven’t done much updating throughout this pregnancy on here, but we are at the 37 week mark and couldn’t be more excited to meet our girl!!
Before I was 20 weeks and about to find out the gender, I was so pumped at the thought of designing a little girl’s nursery. Having two boys, there has never been room for any sort of girly details—plus I’m not one to dress in pink or wear bows in my hair haha—but the thought of adding a darling floral wallpaper to “her” bedroom was making me extremely excited and anxious all at once!
Well on the big baby gender reveal day, all of our dreams came true when we found out that we’d be adding a little GIRL to our family!
Now you can only imagine how pin crazy I went on Pinterest, pinning all of my favourite girl things and looking for nursery ideas! You can check out all my “Baby Girl” Pinterest board here. After searching some of my favourite wallpaper and decal shops on IG and the web, I kept coming back to ANEWALL’s “Wildflower Mural”. It’s bright and bold, out of my comfort zone of neutrals, but I knew it was perfect for our little girl!
Before I share more details on our nursery design… here are some of my favourite nurseries on the web:
Now onto our baby girl’s nursery design! Our design definitely has much more colour than a lot of our inspiration, but I really love the neutral crib with plants and pops of colour through rugs and accessories! Soon we will be sharing more of our nursery, likely not until our little girl is here :).
In the meantime, here is our “baby girl nursery” moodboard will sources…
